Dress Code & Uniform Policy

DRESS CODE

All students are expected to dress appropriately for the educational environment. We believe appropriate student dress contributes to a productive learning environment and we want to ensure the health and safety of our students. Clean clothes is to be worn daily. Parents are asked to be aware that the items listed below may be gang-related apparel or indicators and may not be worn by students to ensure student safety at our school.

  • caps and hats (only caps with appropriate logos are permitted and must be worn properly and outside the classroom only)
  • initialized belt buckles or long belts
  • exceptionally large over-sized pants and shirts
  • make-up
  • tattoos
 
UNIFORM POLICY

The School Uniform Policy has been adopted to create a sense of community and encourage school spirit and pride in our school in a positive, constructive manner. The School Uniform Policy is:

  • blue and white uniforms worn daily
  • plain, white or navy blue collared shirts, polo shirts or blouses with a collar, tucked in at the waist
  • navy blue slacks, plaid or solid pleated skirts, Bermudas, culottes, jumpers or sweatpants
  • shoes must be enclosed or have a heel strap to ensure safety
  • no jeans

Loaner uniforms will be available for new students and emergencies.
